The SORA/COI 2008 Conference is offered to Captains of Industry and State Onsite Regulators.

How to Register

Captains . . . Captain Registration Form (PDF)
Choose a sponsorship package and fill out the Captains Form. Up to four full conference registrations per company are availble, but are not limited to this number depending on sponsorship level. For more information please see our Sponsorship Page.

Regulators
. . .Regulator Registration Form (PDF)
There are no fees for state-level regulatory officials to attend this conference, however, a Registration Form must be filled out and submitted prior to the conference to reserve seating.

Stipends Information for Regulators
Each state may send more than one regulator to the conference; however, only one $850 stipend will be available to each state. You must fill out the Stipend Information section of your Regulators Registration Form (All necessary stipend forms are included in your Regulators Registration Form). Prior to the conference, please check with Sandy Miller to insure that all paperwork for your stipend is in order to be reimbursed properly.

Stipend Reimbursement List
Your expenses may include any of the following:

Airfare: Provide itinerary and original passenger receipt.
Note: If your original receipts are not available, we can accept copies; however, please provide us with an explanation why the originals are not available.

Airport Shuttle: This year, we are providing shuttle service for both the Mobile and Pensacola airports at no cost to SORA attendees. The shuttle will be available for those arriving on Sunday, March 2 and Monday, March 3, 2008. Return trips to the airports for those departing on Friday, March 7, 2008 are also available. Shuttle vans will pick up attendees outside baggage claim and will have SORA/COI signs in the side windows.

As of October 1, 2007, the current reimbursement rate is .445 cents per mile (not to exceed the equivalent value of a round trip airfare from your home airport to the Mobile, Alabama area). This rate is subject to change. Provide exact mileage.

Lodging: Provide original hotel bill showing a $.00 balance after payment.

Taxi/Tolls: Please provide receipts.

Meals: The meal allowance is $29.25 for the first and last days (travel days) and $39.00 per day during the conference. No receipts are necessary. The daily rate will be reduced to reflect actual cost. For example, if NESC provides a meal, then the meal allowance will be adjusted accordingly-20%, 20%, 40% for breakfast, lunch, and dinner respectively.
