About
the Regulations Database
A part
of the Regulations Repository, the Regulations Database not
only helps customers access onsite wastewater regulatory documentation,
it also helps the NSFC determine if it is meeting the growing
and changing needs of the regulatory community.
For example,
an individual wanting an idea of which technologies are permitted
in their state would be able to search rules and guidelines
in the database. The database also allows for comparison between
state regulatory statutes on specific wastewater topics.
Register
to Use the Regulations Database
The
regulations in the Regulations Database are electronic copies
of each state's onsite wastewater regulatory documentation.
Users should note that these are not "official"
regulatory documents. To obtain an official copy of a regulation,
contact your state's onsite wastewater regulatory agency.
To
access the Regulations Database, you must register first.
Please
note: It may take some time for your registration
to be processed before you can log in. If you aren't able
to log in the first time, please wait a few minutes and try
again.

About
the Regulations Repository
The NSFC
maintains an extensive collection of regulations for onsite
wastewater treatment systems in 48 of 50 states. (California
and Michigan are regulated at the county and local health
department levels.)
This collection
can help customers seeking information for a particular state
or those who want to compare regulatory structures between
states. It is particularly useful to states seeking assistance
in revising regulations.
