What is the National Onsite Demonstration Program (NODP)?

The NODP, established in 1993, was developed to encourage the use of alternative, onsite and wastewater treatment technologies to protect public health, ensure water quality, and sustain the environment in small and rural
communities.

Where is the NODP located?

The NODP is housed at West Virginia University (WVU), one of the nation's doctoral-granting, major research institutions. WVU is in Morgantown, West Virginia, a town of 26,000 residents plus approximately 22,000 students. It is located 75 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

How can I contact the NODP?

If you have a wastewater-related question and don't know where to turn, call NODP at (800) 624-8301 or (304) 293-4191 and ask to speak with a training assistant.
