region, the directory profiles 31 training centers/programs in the U.S. and Canada. Contact information, funding sources, fees, courses, technologies, and audiences are
described for each center/program. Consultants, assistance providers, engineers, installers, pumpers, public officials, extension agents, students, sanitarians, private citizens, and others interested in the onsite wastewater treatment field will find this directory to be useful.

trainers, and organizations that are of interest to onsite wastewater system
inspectors. The directory profiles 20 existing and developing state certification
programs for onsite system inspectors and lists 27 trainers and 43 organizations
that can be contacted for further information.

Managing a Small Drinking Water System: Local Officials’ Responsibilities for Providing Safe Drinking Water
