—must be a small community (10,000 people or less) official with responsibilities in the area of water and/or wastewater management

—must provide a letter from an individual in a position of decision-making authority in the community (mayor, board member, public works director, etc.) explaining the need for the training and how the community hopes the training will be used in the management of its water and wastewater infrastructure

—must agree to communicate with NETCSC staff after the training about the impact of the training (if any) on the community’s water and/or wastewater management and operations (These exchanges will take place approximately one month after the Institute and again after six months. Communication may take place either by phone or in writing, depending on the needs and preferences of the participating community.)

To apply for a fee waiver, download the Fee Waiver Application Form, fill it out, and mail or fax it to NETCSC.
